Astrology and LuckAstrology is based on the belief that the position of the planets and stars can determine the events of our life. Many may laugh or scorn such a concept. However, we can’t deny certain astrological effects that influence earth and the life on it.
Take the tidal forces of the moon. They strongly influence life around the seashore. Anyone can see the difference between high tide and low tide. That’s a real physical effect. The sun, our closest star, provides the radiant energy to make our crops prosper or wilt.
The strength of our bones depends on Vitamin D that is produced when our skin is exposed to the sun’s rays. Even scientists say vitamin D is good for strong bones.
In 2010 and previous years the highly destructive hurricanes spawning from warm currents of the oceans fed by the sun’s energy have adversely affected hundreds of thousands of people living in and around those affected areas.
Even today (April 17, 2011) in the USA there is a rash of really destructive tornadoes doing lots of damage plus over 25 people have been killed so far because of them.
It’s not surprising that many ancient civilizations such as the Mayas and Egyptians, revered the sun and the moon. But as indicated destructive events can also be attributed to the sun and superstitions abound concerning the full moon.
