The Astrology Chart
The Astrology Chart – Basis of Astrology Lucky Days and Astrology Chart Compatibility

Many people don’t particularly follow astrology or astrological signs, but yet almost everyone will know what sign they are under if you ask them. Whether they believe or not in astrology or horoscopes they usually know what the characteristics of their sign are. Sometimes they are really right on while other times or for other people there doesn’t seem to be a good match with their astrology sign. In any case, knowing astrology lucky days or any particular astrology lucky day could come in very helpful.
The astrology chart is illustrated as a wheel divided into parts based on the signs, and the Houses, Planets (including the sun and moon), Angles, Aspects, Elements, and Qualities of the zodiac. Each facet of the chart is divided individually into equal parts of the 360° wheel. The astrology chart can be either natal (the position of the chart at the time of one’s birth, mapping the individual‘s traits and characteristics) or progressive (the map of one’s future and fortune).
Each of the 12 signs of the astrology chart is representative of a constellation that can be seen in the sky during a period of the 12 month zodiac cycle. The first sign is Aries, beginning at 0°, followed chronologically in 30° increments on the chart by Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The sign under which an individual is born determines his or her personality type, character traits, and behaviors.
The astrology chart is further divided into 12 Houses, each House associated with a planet and a sign. Each House is ruled by its corresponding sign – Aries, the first sign, rules the 1st House; the second sign, Taurus, rules the 2nd House, etc. The Houses are twelve components of one’s life, outlook, and potential: the self, possessions, communication (including intelligence and relationships), family/home, pleasure/creativity, (which includes romance and love of the arts), health, partnerships, sexuality, philosophy (spiritual growth and higher learning), social status, friendships, and the subconscious, respectively.
The Planets exert their influence either positively or negatively depending on their position and the individual’s birth sign. A planet will have its strongest power over the sign it governs. For example, Saturn has the greatest influence over Capricorns and Aquarians, the 10th & 11th Houses. As with the Houses, each Planet governs a facet or energy in one’s life.
There are four Angles which divide the astrology wheel into quadrants. Each of the quadrants represents a phase of self-development tied in with its three correspondent Houses on the astrology chart. The first quadrant encompasses the first three Houses, focusing on the self, possessions and self-expression. The second quadrant converges on development outside of the self – relationships with and concern for others. The third quadrant concentrates on the effect of one’s actions and beliefs and how they affect others and the environment. The fourth quadrant is a guide to the development of one’s innermost self – the true satisfactions in life, and one’s dream’s and secrets.
The Aspects of the astrology chart speak to the challenges and hardships that must be overcome to achieve harmony and balance in one’s life. Specifically, aspects are signified by angles on the wheel – geometrical relationships between the Planets and points in the zodiac – and are expressed in terms of degrees.
The four Elements (90° each on the wheel), as presented on an individual’s astrology chart reading, characterize one’s core personality. The four elements are fire, earth, air, and water. The fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius, recognized by their fiery temperaments and lively persona. Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn) are loyal, reliable, and practical. The element Air is associated with the Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius – curious, intelligent, and perceptive. Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) are sensitive, nurturing, and intuitive.
Finally, the Qualities divide the Astrology wheel into three 120° sections. The Qualities are indicative of one’s behavioral modality – Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. The Cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn, characterized by their drive, initiative, and creativity. Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius – determined and stable maintainers of the status quo. Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces are the Mutable signs, whose approach to life tends to be flexible, readily adapting to change as it presents itself.
Just knowing your Sun sign or which sign you are born under can give a person a glimpse of their personality and potential relationships. It can help you understand and appreciate the dynamics of your relationships and character and how they relate to each other. Astrology lucky days and the astrology gemstones associated with each zodiac sign have qualities that may be helpful in bringing luck, if you believe.
Questions about Astrology

Mark asks…
How accurate are your horoscope readings?
I filled in a form on a website that gave back my ‘results’. Some of the things contradict each other but overall, a pretty accurate statement i think…
◆Your Sun Sign: [Taurus] Sun 4° Taurus 22′
Element: Earth
Key Planet: Venus
You aren’t necessarily like a Bull in a ring with a toreador. You could be more like peace-loving Ferdinand, seeking the gentle meadows filled with flowers, sunshine and natural beauty. It’s only your stubbornness that can make you angry enough to charge at someone who is disturbing your peace. You Bulls are noted for your determination. You get to where you are going, not because you are exceptionally fast or clever, but because you will not be distracted from your goals.
Motto: “Take care of the senses and everything else will take care of itself.”
Greatest Strength: Your sensible outlook on life
Possible Weakness: Accepting less than you can achieve
◆Your Moon Sign:[Leo] Moon 8° Leo 41′
Your emotions are powerful and often expressed dramatically. That’s because feelings are meant to be shown and not held inside yourself. Sure, you don’t want to expose all of your secrets, but generally putting them out in the open works best for you. It’s part of the enthusiasm that you need to feel alive. Just getting by is not enough for you, which is why you don’t always play it safe. But taking risks on a personal level gives you a sense of excitement that you absolutely need to be at your best. Sure, you can go overboard at times, but that’s probably a better approach than sitting on the sidelines and going unnoticed. You’re here to be seen, so there’s no need to stay quiet or play it cool.
Motto: “If you feel it, show it.”
Greatest Strength: Your urge to create, even if the odds are against you
Possible Weakness: Over-dramatizing your emotions
◆Your Rising Sign:[Cancer] Ascendant 4° Cancer 01′
Cancer Rising indicates a protective nature, sensitive to the environment and concerned with avoiding pain or discomfort. Sometimes, it’s expressed by defending others, taking on a strong position to stand up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. But it can also be about self-protection that can make you wary of new situations. You tend to carefully take measure of your surroundings before opening up. This is an instinctive process based on your feelings, which tend to guide you more than logic. You have a well-developed sense of where you feel at home, allowing you to relax and open up when the conditions are right, but shutting you down like a clam where you feel judged or uncertain.
Motto: “Safety comes first.”
Greatest Strength: Protecting those around you
Possible Weakness: An unwillingness to take risks
◆Your Chinese Sign:[The Dragon]
Mantra: Good luck runs my life.
The Dragon believes she is the ruler of the world. Self confident, very intelligent and talented — most everything a Dragon attempts turns out great. Even when Dragons fail, they are rarely blamed, as their inspiration and enthusiasm evoke love and admiration. A Dragon’s view of other people is not always the best, however. The Dragon can lack patience and be intolerant of the opinions of others if they don’t agree with hers.
Do your readings match up to you or do they represent just the complete opposite?

My daily horoscope can usually be interpreted to be very close to my actual life. However, my actual readings from experienced “readers” are dead on the money! I have many friends who are skilled, and as intuitive as I am. All of my readings both described my past, present and future with alarming accuracy. My personal beliefs have been affirmed throughout my lifetime! Rather inspiring and mystical!
