Astrology consists of a number of belief systems which hold that there is a relationship between astronomical phenomena and events in the human world. Astrological Influences on life today is still there, like in ancient times if you believe astrology has any merit. Many cultures have attached importance to astronomical events, and the Indians, Chinese, and Mayans developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations.

While astrology may bear a superficial resemblance to science, it is a pseudoscience because it makes little attempt to develop solutions to its problems, shows no concern for the evaluation of competing theories, and is selective in considering confirmations and dis-confirmations.

Life would be very interesting and enjoyable if one comes to know about the future and changes his or her life according to it. However, not all the people believe in future predictions. However, there are many people who do believe in astrology and its influence in their lives.

Astrologers not only predict one’s personal life but also predict the future of the country and even the world. For instance, world wars and the nuclear bombs used for the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which have happened in real life were predicted by astrologers. Such incidents force some people to believe in astrology and its predictions.

The belief in astrology can become stronger for some people if they are aware that some great personalities too visit astrologers often. Great leaders like former President Ronald Reagan, along with his wife, mostly seek advice from an astrologer before making certain decisions for important events like the election in 1976 and the after events. It might be a surprise for you to know that many more presidents before Reagan used to visit astrologers and ask for their advice. The great world leader like Winston Churchill also led political life based on astrologer’s advice.

There are also celebrities who use the help of astrology to climb the ladder to success in their career. They strongly believe in astrology and that is how their popularity goes high. One of the celebrities, David Coverdale, a rock singer belonging to English rock bands like Deep Purple and Whitesnake, along with his wife follow the path of astrology. Another singer Britney Spears pays a visit often to astrologers to seek advice from them. These celebrities shine in their career. Could the secret be the power of astrology? It is a matter to think about seriously.

It is a fact that many politicians and celebrities often visit astrologers for learning and understanding astrology in order to have a better and successful life. It is said that Western people rarely show interest in astrology. A recent survey shows that nearly thirty percent of the Americans have faith in the work of astrology. Out of these thirty percent, more than half of the believers are adults who are below thirty years of age. The rest of the believers are in the age group between sixty and seventy years of age.

Among American adults who are believers in astrology most are women, politicians, and celebrities. People who are less educated as well as highly educated equally believe in astrology. There are several experts who practice this in different countries. The fact is that now more and more people are showing interest in the field of astrology. Not only ordinary human beings are taking the path of astrology but even highly educated world leaders, great politicians, and stars consider astrology very helpful and necessary and it can have a strong effect on everyone’s life.
